YAS Podcast New Guest Orientation

If you have landed on this page, it means you are a new potential YAS Podcast guest.  Please take a moment to fill out the interest form, which is how we develop your episode and learn more about you, and review our style guide. The style guide will give you info on what program we use, how to prepare yourself, lighting, camera, ect. If you ever have any questions, don’t hesistate to email us.

Important Information

For your recording, please allow yourself at least an hour to dedicate being with your host.  Most likely, we will not be recording for the full hour, but we will be doing things like checking sound, making sure everyone’s lighting and picture looks good and going over last minute details.  

Click Here for the link you will use to enter the YAS Podcast studio.  We use Riverside as our podcast recording platform. 

If you are using your phone, clicking that studio link above will prompt you to download the Riverside App.

If you will be using your computer, you can just use your browser, but also have the choice to use the app.  That is up to you. 

Lastly, once you are done recording, we may ask you to keep your app or browser open for the files to complete uploading.  We will talk about it right before recording so you can see the upload bar and tell for yourself how much longer your recording needs to upload.
