AM Davies (AMD) is the creator and host of YAS Podcast, formerly known as Yes, A Stripper Podcast, a show dedicated to sharing the real stories of strippers and sex workers.

AMD began stripping in 2002 and has spent more than 20 years in the adult entertainment industry. Over that time they have witnessed firsthand how strippers are often erased from the history of pole dance and misrepresented in mainstream media. YAS Podcast was created to change that by giving sex workers a space to speak openly about their lives, their work, and the realities of the industry.

In addition to hosting the podcast, Davies is the founder of United Pole Artists, a media platform created to celebrate pole dance while honoring the strippers who built the art form. They also served as Secretary of Strippers United from 2019–2024, supporting organizing efforts to improve labor conditions for dancers across the United States.

After surviving a scooter accident in 2018 that resulted in a below-the-knee amputation, Davies returned to dancing and creating art using a prosthetic leg, continuing to explore the intersections of performance, sexuality, and identity.

Davies is also the president of YAS Work, a nonprofit organization that produces media and educational resources about sex work while supporting sex workers as experts, artists, and professionals.

Through YASPodcast, AM continues to amplify the voices of sex workers and document the culture, labor, and creativity of the strip club industry.
